WINTER WONDERS
Winter Wonders are monthly field trips that take place on Saturdays from September to January. Field trips provide our youth with unique opportunities to experience things outside of the farm and their classrooms that their families may not be able to afford. These trips help youth to build cultural understanding and expose them to worlds outside of their own. Examples of field trips include visiting science and cultural organizations, local restaurants where youth get to experience new cuisines, and volunteering at local nonprofit organizations. Field Trips take place during the day or in the early evening depending on the activity. To become one of our Winer Wonders chaperones, email info@growingcolorado.org.
Requirements: All volunteers are required to fill out an application which includes a $25 criminal background check. Please email info@growingcolorado.org to get started.
